DONALD SOLLEY #115
DFB: Who influences you and how?

- I think my biggest influence is my Dad. He's always been there for me and he won a couple of world titles and a national title in Pro Stock drag racing and it gives me the goal to be like him.

DFB: What are some of your hobbies besides motocross?

- Just hanging out with friends you know. Having fun going to the beach, movies, go carting, jumping golf carts (hahaha)and spending time with my girlfriend. Pretty much anything fun

DFB: Who would you say is your biggest competition?

- Theres a lot of guys in A class this year. It's really tough to say who is the biggest but Steven Clarke, Vince Friese and all the other A riders here at MTF are going really fast and we're pushing ourselves really hard.

DFB: What do you to train?

- Well I ride Monday - Thursday for about 4 hours doing motos, working on sections, and sprints. Then I spend a lot of time in the gym doing cardio as well as strength training during certain times of the year.

DFB: Who got you started in the sport of motocross?

- My Dad's good friend Rich Cain used to race a lot and told my Dad to get me a bike for Christmas when I was 2 and loved it ever since.

DFB: Who’s your favorite pro rider and why?

- I think James Stewart just because he has so much talent and can do almost anything he needs to when he needs to do it.

DFB: Do you consider yourself successful at what you do?

- For the past couple of years...not really. I've had a lot of injuries keeping me on the sidelines but I think I'm getting to wear I can start being successful now.

DFB: Do you have any future plans or goals to achieve in this sport?

- Yeah for sure. I want to win some pro titles and also become a trainer when I'm done with my racing career.

DFB: What are your plans for the year of 2008?

- I would like to make a bigger name for myself. I deffinately want to win some titles this year in the A class and get on the map so I can have a factory ride for 2009.

DFB: Off the serious note, let's ask some random questions

DFB: What’s the play list on the iPod these days?

- Pretty much anything. I can listen to pretty much whatever but I think rap takes up about 90% of it. haha

DFB: Who do you chill with (friends)?

- Up here at MTF I hang out with pretty much everyone, and same with at the races. I'm good friends with a lot of people so its kinda hard to name all of them

DFB: What’s one thing you can’t live without?

- Riding. Without it I'm pretty much lost.

DFB: What’s your favorite food?

- I love Italian foods and BBQ stuff for sure.

DFB: Ok, so is there anyone you'd like to thank for getting you where you are now?

- Oh yeah. God for sure for giving me the ability to ride as well as my parents, everyone here at MTF, MSR, Gearne, EVS, OGIO, Fuel Clothing, One Industries, Pro Action, and anyone else I forgot. Thanks

DFB: Thank you, for your time and I wish you the best of luck this coming year!!

- Oh yeah no problem and thanks a lot. I'm going to need it!
